The gospel is the good news that all the promises of God have been made available to mankind through the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ, through His life, death, burial and ressurection. It is through knowledge of these promises found in the Word of God that we fellowship with the Father. It is how we partake of the divine nature of God. Our Father has no greater desire than to fellowship with His people.

that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

He came to declare the promises of God made available to all of mankind through faith in Him. He came to preach deliverance, and freedom, healing and the restoration of sight. God is good, and he came to set you free, not to put you into bondage to a new theology, or a new set of laws and regulation.
